1. What sparked your interest in fitness? How did your fitness journey begin?

My interest in fitness started at a very young age. I was an athlete growing up and played soccer at the collegiate level. Once I finished college, I decided to continue my fitness journey into group fitness. My mom has always been a group fitness, yoga, and Pilates instructor since I can remember. Sharing this passion with my mom is my favorite thing! 

2. What makes you excited to teach at Health House? 

The most exciting thing about teaching at Health House is all the amazing clients! I admire how much effort and energy they bring every time they walk through the Health House doors. The culture at HH is like nothing I have experienced before. Having the opportunity to give clients 45 minutes of their day that is dedicated to their health and wellness is incredibly rewarding!


3. What are your tips to stay motivated to eat healthily and stay fit?

Being healthy and staying fit are much more than one's appearance on the outside. When one focuses on living a healthy, happy, and fit lifestyle, the motivation comes naturally. Once you find what works for you, stick to it! Get in the groove and continue to schedule your workouts for the week and plan out your meals. Challenge your body passed your limits. You are always stronger then you think!

4. What is your favorite 20-minute exercise circuit (for the days you are traveling and can't make it to class?)

HIIT workouts are my go to when I am traveling. I love to incorporate sprints on the treadmill or full body weight circuits.  If I am in a city with great studios, I always try to make it to a class! I love working out with other people and trying new class formats.


5. Favorite post-workout meal or snack? 

My favorite post-workout meal usually consists of a protein smoothie or eggs in some form (usually hard boiled). 

6. Share a quote that describes you/your fitness style?

My favorite quote that I love to live by is "No one is you and that is your power" - Dave Grohl. Don't try and be like others and don't hold any of yourself back.
